The Sassa Payment Dates for R350 Grant for January 2023 haven’t been confirmed yet. SASSA has said that there is no fixed payment date for those who receive their SRD grant payments through the bank account. These SASSA payment dates are no longer applicable to the post office payout system. SASSA R350 beneficiaries can receive their grants as soon as they receive confirmation of payment from SASSA.
Wait for SMS from Sassa
Beneficiaries are urged to wait for an SMS to say that they can collect their R350 grant and should not head out to collect it if they haven’t received an SMS.
If you don’t have any banking details, individuals can collect your grant cash from Pick-N-Pay, Shoprite, Checkers, USave or Boxer stores.

Steps to Check SRD Status and Payment Date
Step 1: For Sassa status check, firstly you have to visit the Sassa SRD website. When you are on the website, scroll down to a section labelled ‘Application status’. You may also go directly to this link: Click on this URL https://srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status for Sassa Status Check now.
Step 2: Click on ‘Click here to check online’
Step 3: A new page will open with a bar where you have to enter your details.
Step 4: Enter your ID number on the first bar.
Step 5: Enter you cellphone number used when registering on the SRD system.
Step 6: Tap or hit the ‘Submit’ button.
You will then be able to see your status on your screen.
How to find R350 SRD Payment Date for 2023?
If your status says ‘Approved” you will be able to see your payment date under the approved status.
What to do about ‘approved’ grant status?
The client should check the pay day field for an indication of when they will receive their money. If no pay day value is provided, no payment has been processed as yet.
