Sassa Recent Message on Payment Method Change
The South African Social Security Agency has reminded the social grant beneficiaries about the required documents to change payment method. These are the requirements for the ‘normal’ social grant excluding the temporary SRD grant for COVID-19.
“Social grant recipients who choose to get their social grant payments through their personal bank account must bring along the following documents to SASSA”
- Proof of bank account received from the bank or
- Three months bank statement that depicts the personal details of the client such as names and bank accounts.
