SASSA is Moving to New System

The South African Social Security Agency announced that they are migrating to a new system.

“Please note that we are improving our online services platform to serve you better.

Applicants whose applications were returned due to incomplete document(s) will be allowed to upload their outstanding document(s) for further processing up until the 14 October 2022.”

They continue and said “The applicants who are unable to submit their outstanding documents before the set due date will be required to resubmit their application on the new online platform which will be live from 01 November 2022. All applications that are not finalized i.e. saved applications or applications failed DHA or Bank validations, will have to be re-submitted on the new online platform as soon as it goes live. To use the new online platform, all clients (existing and new) are required to re-register/ register.”

The organisation further advised potential applicants to get assistants at their nearest Sassa offices.

“For those who wants to apply as soon as possible, kindly visit your nearest SASSA local

office for assistance. Thank you for your understanding and patience.”

How to Apply for Social grants?

You may apply for social grants by visiting local branches of the South African Social Security Agency. Make sure you take relevant personal documents to get assistance when applying for social grants.
