Beware of These Sassa Jobs False Advertisements
Sassa is repeatedly noting that there are false information concerning job advertisements in their name. More of these posts are advertised on social media pages and groups with Sassa names but not belonging to Sassa.
The agency is warning citizens to be aware of such false information as it does not come from them.
Some advertisements clained that Sassa is looking for over 100 000 workers. They claim that Sassa candidates must only have grade 10 and above to apply for the jobs. But Sassa is distancing themselves with such false advertisements. See their message below.

A recent message from Sassa reads “Please note that the below advert is FAKE and does not come from SASSA. All SASSA vacancies are advertised on national newspapers or the agency’s website (http://sassa.gov.za ) only.”
How to Apply for Sassa Jobs Correctly?
To apply for Sassa Jobs go to Sassa website and click on the careers section to find available jobs.
Step 1: Go to https://www.sassa.gov.za/Pages/vacancies.aspx
Step 2: Look at the available job advertisements
Step 3: Open the link with job title you are interested in. A PDF document will open with full information about the post or positions.
Step 4: View the details on the document.
Step 5: Check how applications shall be sent. Usually an email address will be listed for applications to be sent to.
Step 6: Send your applications via the email address provided.
Important to note
Applicants interested in applying for these Sassa posts should send their applications (CV, fully completed signed new Z83) quoting the relevant reference number and position name as per the advert.
